The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality requires all construction sites to adhere to the requirements set forth by the TCEQ TXR150000 Construction General Permit.

For sites that disturb greater than 1 acre, a Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) is required to determine the best plan for containing stormwater runoff related to construction activities. In addition to creating a SWPPP, the TXR150000 requires regular inspection of controls to ensure they are functioning properly.
